I added a patina and finished the wedding band that would go with her ring - and also included is her hubby-to-be's ring. I am super pleased with how they turned out. Nora was wonderful to work with, which makes creating new things even more fun!!

This was a custom order piece, but I just wanted to share, i thought it turned out so lovely!!!

it is a moonstone set in one of my organic vine pieces. it was both harder and easier than I thought it would be. Not really sure how that works, but some parts were more difficult - like getting a spot for the bezel to sit down IN, , but once I did, soldering the bezel in and setting the stone were much easier! So there, thats how it was both harder and easier!

For some reason I was never happy with the photos I took of these earrings. So I quite having them for sale. How silly is that?!? They are one of my favorites and one of my customer favorites. I sell sooo many of them. I think b/c they are really versatile - they go with any silver jewelry that has a patina or is shiny! You can also unloop either the oval or the circle and have a longer dangle pair of earrings. Super fun!!

I was inspired to do these rings for several reasons. I'd been feeling kind of claustrophobic (for lack of a better word). I've been going through lots of things in my life and clearing out. There are several pieces I've had listed for sale and they haven't sold. I was tired of looking at them. Some pieces are going to be melted down in to something new, others will be turned in to something else! Like these rings! Some of the organic vine rings just didn't have the pizazz on their own that they needed, but as a band accompaniment to a lovely stone - they are perfect!! I feel like they are starting to give me the depth to my work I've been looking for.
I have so many stones that I really love and they just sit there. I'm hoping that habit is going to stop now and that I continue pairing up the stones to make some fabulous pieces.

I was also inspired by my friend Christine - who does amazing work, but like a lot of artists, is pushing herself forward and coming up with new designs to keep her creativity and passion in full swing. She created three rings that were just super lovely and inspired me to get out of my own run. Check out her shop - keep an eye on her - she is always adding new and amazing items.

This sweet little thing is one of my new favorites. I had gotten some little marquise champagne diamonds a few weeks ago with the intention of making these! And surprisingly, they diamonds didn't sit around for months like they usually do before I get around to working with them. Course it did take me a week to actually photograph it though!

And this one is mine to keep!

Sometimes I make something I like so much I have a hard time actually listing it. And this cuff doesn't even fit me! I just haven't put it up yet. Maybe for fear that no one will love it as much as me and it will just sit there? Or maybe that it will be gone so soon?

Either way - today is the day and I am listing it! no more letting i just sit there.

This lovely ring was a custom order. and I love it! It makes me super happy when a customer says, I love this piece, can you do it a little more special for me. Its so elegant. These rings looks so great the more and more detail that gets added.

Just one more thing on my list that I want to do more of!

This is my next tennis volley for Sophie!! I've been having fun making bangles and thought this would be perfect. I actually made a cuff bracelet too, though I haven't photographed it yet. This piece seemed the best 'hit'.

Its an extremely important day, election, and a time in our history. I know I want to be a part of it, as should every American. Wouldn't it be nice if the president was elected by the majority of Americans, not just who happened to actually vote that day? Yes. Yes it would.

This weekend I was reordering my business cards, gearing up for all the holiday packages I'll be sending out (wink, wink) and there was a free shipping offer if I spent just a little bit more money. I have a hard time passing those up and thought it would be a great chance to get a little something as an extra for my packages - so I designed these bookmarks! I wanted to do something that wouldn't be quite like a business card, but that someone might actually use a bookmark. I'd been thinking of something like this, design wise, for awhile, and I finally got a chance to implement it. They will be glossy and have rounded corners, just like my business cards! I'm very excited to get them and see them in real life.
